1. The Ice Within

It comes from deep
a longing for truth that we can't handle
it burns ground under our feet
grains of sadness following us

Scythe, it cuts deeply this masque
Reaches up to the grey skies

Passes down, among hate and war
Vibrating chord, music for the hearts
whispering, destroying, dispelling
also where the ice lies within

Up again, near the sun, then falls
like everything in this world
We, disciples of this fall
we will endlessly sing this words

A frozen rose in a city street
she doesn't know, she lies cold
awaiting, praying, smiling
to the first rays of spring

when the ice within will meld


2. Tear Paintings

Two shades without time
Melancholy and Autumn Sun
slipp'd among sabres of light
in everlasting corridors
boundless spaces
forgotten by the gods,
if they ever existed
with colours of air, purity and dew
with dyes of earth and blood, curdled
with plagues and ashes, with tears
with ambrosia and elixirs of life
on a canvas of ethereal infinite
paint'd the world, the pain and the destiny, but
the pure skies let the man see the infinite
the remembrance of the pain consumed 'em slowly
the knowdledge of the destiny made 'em empty
and so Melancholy and Autumn Sun
painted the sky with blue
shaded pain with forgetfulness
disguised destiny under the veil of time
so that only the one who would stood
in front of the colours of the world
could have embraced in himself, the ethernal
