Trio
Aedòn. It was created in 1993. The aim of the
Trio is to offer an original repertoire of valuable musical
pieces, which are no duly esteemed. The universally known
masterpieces of L.van Beethoven and of J. Brahms played by this
Trio inspired many composers.
The Trio played in important concert halls and Italian theatres,
presenting along the traditional classical music, pieces of great
value composed by less known authors but appreciated by the
public. Recently, its collaboration with Italian composers
(Festa, D.Salvatore,
Cocomazzi, Nicolau, R.Beccaceci,
P.Merkù, Teresa Procaccini
etc.) gave birth to a number of compositions specially dedicated
to the Trio and played for the first time in important radio
programs of the RAI (Italian Radio Television). This music was
recorded on CD for B&W Italy, and for EDIPAN in Rome. The Trio has
also made a CD by himself named "Concerto Italiano".
In 1998 the Trio made a tour in Argentina, Chile and Brazil,
where he played, besides Italian composers, some south of
American authors, such as A.
Piazzolla, Guastavino, Ginastera and C. Franzetti.
In February 2000, the Trio Aedòn was in Lebanon (Beirut, Zahle,
Saida, Tripoli), and in August it came back to Argentina for a
concert in the International Festival of Contemporary Music
"Encuentros
2000".
