Grapes: 100% Barbera.
Vintage period and management: The manual harvest carried out at the beginning of October.
Fermentation: With controlled temperature (about 28C). For a period of 7 8 days
Ageing and refining: In stainless steel vats for 15 18 months. After the ageing, the wine is put in the bottles without any filtration. The refining is carried out in a place at constant temperature and right humidity, protected from sunlight and artificial light.
Tasting properties: It is a traditional and very pleasant Barbera. A kind of wine for drinking everyday. The colour is ruby, pleasantly intense.. The scent shows is vinous, fresh and fruity. Full bodied with soft tannins and a long finish.
Recommended with: This wine is particularly suitable with all dishes, particularly hot Piemontese hors d ouvres, strong tasting pasta, rice dishes and with white meat dishes.
