. All Japan Touring Car Championship for Group A started in 1985.. Competes in touring car championships abroad and wins championships in UK, Italy and Australia.. The GC series saw its conclusion that year, and the all-Japan championship title was offered for the first time.. Wins a title in the All Japan Sports Prototype Car Endurance Championship.. Wins championship in JTC (All Japan Touring Car Championship) series, in Division 2 and 3 respectively.. Ranks third in the World Sports Prototype Championship.. Wins touring car championships in Germany and Italy.. Wins a title in the European Touring Car Championship.. Comes top in the Asia Pacific Rally Championship.. Kunimitsu Takahashi and Kenji Takahashi, driving Porsche 962C in the All Japan Endurance Championship, come top in this Group C sports car race for three consecutive years from 1985..
