Whose great idea was this anyway? Just as Goodyear has done with the tires, it seems NASCAR's new R&D center has over engineered the 'Car of Tomorrow"! At a time when the leading car manufacturers in this country are struggling, does it make sense to take away the identity of the cars? NASCAR fans used to watch a brand win on Sunday and hurry to the car dealers on Monday to buy the car that won! You could tell a Dodge from a Mercury from an Oldsmobile from a Ford and it mattered what your favorite guy drove.
