There are several methods but are you sure you
want to do this? There may be some conflict with later programs
that require the use of Contacts. In any case, you can edit the
sysocs.inf file contained in the inf folder and remove ONLY the word
Hide from the line about msmsgs, leaving the commas intact which
will allow you to uninstall via Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs,
or you can do the following from the Start/Run line (removing the
quotation marks):
"rundll32 setupapi,InstallHinfSection
BLC.Remove 128 %SystemRoot%\INF\msmsgs.inf"
The future consequences are not known with
either method so it's really your choice. As another alternative,
Doug Knox, MVP, has a small Vbscript file on his website under XP,
Disable/Enable Messenger that you may prefer since it is easily
reversible. See this link:

18-OE scarica doppia copia di tutti i messaggi
degli account Hotmail e IMAP - Può succedere se il vostro account Hotmail o IMAP è il vostro account di default e OE è configurato per aprirsi direttamente in Posta in Arrivo e contemporaneamente anche per cercare sul server nuovi messaggi alla partenza. Per risolvere il problema disabilitare o Strumenti / Opzioni / All'Avvio vai alla Cartella Posta in Arrivo oppure Strumenti / Opzioni / Invia e Ricevi messaggi all'Avvio - Oppure avete selezionato la cartella Hotmail e contemporaneamnete OE è impostato per in dowload automatico che parte in quel momento.

20-Increase
speed of Outlook Express when Messenger is removed or disabled http://www.tweakxp.com/tweakxp/display.asp?id=108 For some users when they remove windows messenger or just disable it from starting up automatically they experience a great slow down when launching Outlook express. Users who experience such a slow down will find a error in the system error log saying The server {FB7199AB-79BF-11D2-8D94-0000F875C541} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout. The solution this problem is quite simple. Just Open up regedit and search for the string {FB7199AB-79BF-11D2-8D94-0000F875C541} and modify the keys InProc32 and LocalServer32 default key to a empty string. After a reboot, Outlook will start up as fast as possible. |

che sia abilitato il protocollo HTTP per Outlook Express/Hotmail Aprire il Registro di Configurazione ed andare a : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Outlook Express\ e verificare che nella finestra di destra ci sia il valore DWord HTTP Mail Enabled e che sia settato su 1. Se non esiste allora crearlo con Clik Destro su un punto vuoto della finestra destra e poi Nuovo/Valore DWord/HTTP Mail Enabled/Modifica/1 |
