Symptom:
the switch is not working. It doesn't work because
turning it left it doesn't trig the internal switch (it do not
“clicks”. Something wrong (bended?) inside suspected.
Fix
log:
The switch is ganged with the trigger level pot.
Having
the trigger & Z-axis board removed for another fix, it was very
easy to dismount the entire pot+switch assembly.
Opened the switch
apart ...
The rest of the story is too difficult to describe
(think of a lot of reverse engineering and a lot of watchmaker work),
but eventually it worked fine again.
