Where I come from
Well, it seems you want to spend a couple of minutes knowing me better...so, let's start from the beginning!!!!!
I was born in one of the most beautiful and famous city in the world, the "Eternal City", the "Caput Mundi", the centre of Christianity and of many other Empires, on June the 26th in 1972.
I'm very proud of being born in Rome, and I'm proud also of having my parents and all my granparents born in Rome, by the way that's not so common!!!
My father Maurizio (click him to send a message) and my mother Anna have a Wholesale Shop in the south suburbs of Rome called "Anna Ferri", selling accessories for men and women like bags, suitcases, wallets, belts, shoes and so on...
What I studied
I attended classes from Grammar Scholl up to High School always in the same institute, "Pontificia Scuola PIO IX", just facing St. Peter's Square, in Rome. It's one of the oldest Institutes in Rome, founded in the last century by Pope PIO IX.
After this long period
I jumped to the University of Rome "La Sapienza", where
I graduated in Aerospace Engineering in July 1997. I took the
specialisation in Avionics, that is to say onboard equipments and
I realised my Master Thesys of by ,
with the support of the "Technical Operation Department" , studying a failure of the electrical
system of the airplane MD80.
After a short holiday following the Graduation I worked for three months as an intern by "Nissan Italia" in Rome, in the "Technical Information and Warranty Office". That has been the first opportunity for me to get in touch with a real job, I really enjoied that period.
Unfortunately at the end I had to leave for my military service, that I attended in the "School of Military Engineering" in Rome, working in the "Electronic Data Processing" laboratory.
My experience in BEST
Most of my University years, at least the last three, are linked to the student association BEST Roma, which I was a member of.
BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) is an association of European Student of Engineering whose aim is "to promote Europe among Europeans" through the organisation of lot of events such as Jobshops, Summer Courses, Intercultural Exchanges and so on.
I was a member of this association from April 1994 till my Graduation in July 1997. In the year 1994 - 1995 I was also a member of the Board of Administration with office of Treasurer. In the same period I was also the responsible for the Organisation of the two following courses:
Spring Course "New and renewable Energies"
Summer Course "The power of Nature: New energies for a new world"

My interests and hobbies
My biggest interest is travelling and get in touch with new cultures and countries. I visited many countries in Europe thank to BEST, and what is more important I met lot of people from different regions, with whom I am still in touch. Unfortunately in the last two years, due to my studies and due to the Military Service I couldn't travel so much.
I also like very much studying foreign languages, because I think that's the best way to get to the core of a foreign country and foreign people. Besides studing English at school, I studied in the last three years French (in the Cultural Centre of the French Embassy to the Holy See in Rome) and German (in the Austrian Cultural Centre in Rome).
I'm also very found of airplanes and everything is related to the commercial aerospace industry. In the Page of my favorite links you will find lot of addresses to interesting sites.
