Elena Aiello

 

 

Born in 1984 in Genoa, Italy, she started to learn to play the piano at the age of six with Prof. Luciano Poltini. When she was eleven, she started to study violin with Prof.sa Donella Terenzio at the "Niccolò Paganini" Conservatory of Genoa, then she decides to continue parallely also her studies of piano and she entered in the class of Prof. Gianfranco Carlascio. Actually she frequents the ninth course of both instruments.

Inside the Conservatory, she has an intense concert activity, she play in duo, trio, quartet, in Orchestra and as soloist with the “Giovani Solisti” Orchestra directed by Maestro Nevio Zanardi in important national musical demonstrations.

She has participated in various competitions, always classifying herself on national staircase (3° prize National Competition "Riviera della Versilia" - 1997; 2° prize National Competition "Liburni Civitas" - 1997; 3° prize International Competition society "Jupiter" - 1999; 1° prize National Competition "Città di Grosseto" - 1999; 1° prize absolute International Competition of musical execution "Johannes Brahms" – 2000; 1° prize National Competition for young musicians “Città di Massa” - 2004). She won for two consecutive years the scholarship “Preludium – Crescere con la musica” of Sanremo and the scholarship “Giovani musicisti” offered by Banco di Chiavari.

In Semptember 2002 she recorded for Philarmonia the Vivaldi “Four Seasons” with the Orchestra of Nevio Zanardi.
 

 

Simone Pansolin

 

 

 

 

Pansolin Simone was born in Genoa in 1983. He started studying guitar in 1994 at the "Accademia Musicale Teresiana" in Arenzano, led by his teacher Anna Veschi. At the moment he's going to take the examination for the guitar certification at the Niccolò Paganini Conservatory in Genoa, led by his teacher Giuseppe Briasco. He took part in many national and international competitions and won 16 of them, among the others: the international competition of vocal and instrumental performance “Rovere d'oro" in S. Bartolomeo al Mare; the international competition of chamber music “Città di Grosseto”; the national muster of guitar “F. Levrone e C.A. Bottero” in Roburent; the 28th guitar competition “G. Ansaldi – P. Servetti” in Villanova Mondovì (as concert musician); the international competition of musical interpretation “Società Jupiter” in Genoa; the national competition of music “I Giovani per i Giovani” in Ravenna (as concert musician). He plays in concert in various localities in Italy (such as Turin, Genoa, Ravenna and Mondovì - where he also partecipated in the inaugural concert of the homonymous competition) and abroad (Hungary, England and Switzerland), both as soloist and in many chamber formations. He took part in the rappresentation of "Romancero Gitano" in chorus and solo guitar by M. Castelnuovo-Tedesco and worked together with the "Teatro dell'Opera Giocosa" of Savona in the representation of "Il barbiere di Siviglia" by G. Rossini, as guitarist in stage.
