ABORYM

Everyone who have already read the enthusiastic review that I’ve done for the incredible Aborym’s new album "With No Human Intervention" have a picture of what I think of this band, another brick another piece of history, an album that have something to give to the evolution of the extreme music, something that doesn’t stagnate and that demonstrate how with more modern solutions it’s possible to give a new face to the older and eternal face of darkness, a new dimension of coldness, this is what I mean to keep alive something.

Ild -Your sound have surely some metal elements but in its concept is for me more modern, industrial, guitars have a cold impact and the synths parts are like in the background, like a shadow, is it related with the title of your album...is traditional metal itself formed by a human sensibility and passion that your band have lost?

(Set Teitan 131) We are not a traditional band so!.We walk our path, and the impulse to write my musick comes from a non human current. The musick we do has the ability to enter the subconscious oceans and  gives birth to the daemon-forms lying in wait into the subconscious. The veil of "reality" is soon to be ripped and raped!.

Ild -What kind of oppositions you’ve find in the past from the most conservative press and distributors?

(Set Teitan 131) All kind of oppositions, from censorship to boycotting, basically due to their ignorance and extreme sense of inferiority. But in the end is all promotion they give the band, for free. I think many people before being able to judge others work or deeds, should experience themselves a couple of life lessons more . What they need is Fire, we shall provide that for all.

(Malfeitor Fabban): When we released the Kali Yuga Bizarre album we were censored in several times, as far regard the album-cover! in Germany and France the distribution of the album was stopped also. This ‘cause our attitude and way the talk about reality, magik or politic. We don’t care man. We’re proud ov what we are, and we’re exciting thinkin’about what we’re tranforming into

Ild - I wish to know something more about the technical things behind the incredible sampler work that there’s inside your last release, where have you find and how have you deformed those elements?

(Malfeitor Fabban). It comes out naturally while we’re recordin’our chaos in studio. It’s pure experimental-art without limits, paranoia, and any kind of human instructions. To make chaos is too exciting for us. I think we’ll never stop our instinct under this point of view. We play buttons, and our machines creates pure chaos.

Ild- How can you relate the most industrial songs of your last album with a song that have some epic elements like "Roma Divina Urbs".is there a link that connect your past with the present or you fell that you’ve chose a different way?

(Set Teitan 131) So what about "Tantra Bizarre" that was on the same album of "Roma.."? Our nature has always been controversial through the sound. We chose our way years back

Ild - Your new album kills, but the only song that I haven’t liked too much is the one where Nattefrost sings, it’s too retro-thrash and conservative on the riffs compared to the apocalyptic mood of the others...what do you think of that collaboration, is it more a matter of exposition?

(Set Teitan 131) Well, first of all the songs on this album sound  pretty different and unique in themselves. I wrote the song you mention and is one of my fave track, it is a homage to the primordial BM feel the AboryM way!I wrote it thinking about Nattefrost as I thought his vocals would have been perfect on that one and I was right I think. Is absolutely not a matter of exposition (because is not fucking Britney Spears singing on it, that would have been exposition), "The Alienation Of  A Blackened Heart" (Nattefrost wrote the lyrics for that track as well)  was singed by one of the few beings which I consider a spiritual brother and a unique artist into the BM field with his Carpathian Forest. This song was meant to put a sigil to our spiritual brotherhood and marks for eternity a  lot of memories from the time when we recorded and he was with us raising chaos and hell in Rome.

Ild - In your previous album you have added one electro song, in this one two, one is very rhythmic and the other more tecno oriented, how you’ve developed those ideas?

(Malfeitor Fabban): Not completely correct man. If ya listen carefully to all the "metal-tracks" in this album you’ll be able to find lots of electronic-inputs. We also use lots of sintetic electro-bass lines, not only samples and grooves. But I don’t like to start exploring the musik we made, I prefer to let people deliberate their own feelings and energy through the musik we play.

Ild - I’ve heard that there will be a very ambitious and luxurious digipak version, what’s the concept of this artwork?

(Malfeitor Fabban): The artwork-concept is the same concept of the album: with no fuking human intervention, the apocalypse put into a modern suffering, a new color for the evil, new movements of demons and spirits among us, new sintetic depression and paranoia. Look around yourself and think about what we are today, and try to image what could be the future. I realized the artwork analizing this matter and philosophing about the future-chaos we are all waiting for. No hope of salvation. No way.

Ild - It comes natural to me to ask you if you look to the post-industrial decay like something to glorify or a monster created by human that will sadly destroy its owns creator?

(Malfeitor Fabban): the only think I see is the pure forthcoming chaos, the neverending kali yuga era...now it’s time for the world the see a man with open-eyes, now it’s time to realize we tell ourselves the best of lies, now it’s time the see the fact we are all the unity and now it’s time for us to deliberate our aims!. We are in a big shit, together! and one day the nature will starts its vengeance against men.

Ild - A world without certain point is chaos, in my eyes every generation have its own gods like today the mass-media, that have reached are more important status then traditional religions, but aren’t they more weak and simple to be manipulated?

(Set Teitan 131) I believe most of the things going on in the world are fucking manipulations of an however non existing truth. To my eyes, the only wisdom is to be found into the knowledge of Chaos. Invert the wheel of Cosmos .

Ild - What do you think of the actual situation of past glories like Satyricon, Immortal, Mayhem, Darkthrone…and what about a promising one like for me is Dodheimsgard?

(Set Teitan 131) I’m more concerned about what I /we do, then to use my time thinking about how others develop or how cool it was the past etc etc. I guess that everybody is doing what they feel is right for them.

Ild - Do you still mean Aborym to be a black metal band (in my opinion totally)...and if yes witch are the element that doesn’t change in a old-style and modern vision of that music?

(Set Teitan 131) Personally yes, but I wouldn’t put AboryM in any fixed scene because of this. My attitude and the reasons why we do what we do never changed, that’s maybe the answer.

Ild - What are musically the things, inspirations and elements, that keep in communication the different personalities of the band?

(Malfeitor Fabban): In Aborym every member listen to different kind of music, from Black Metal, Thrash, to industrial, techno, power-noise, drum’n bass, electro or ebm. We’re able to explain each others our ideas, our feelings... and then we start to create musik. Usually Set and Nysrok concentrate themselves ‘bout the riffing... and than we start to enrich’em, to experiments with synth, keayboards, softwares and so on. We stop our mind just when the risult is excellent for our taste. Anyway... there’re no particular inspirations from other bands. Personally I consider myself as open minded! I like several and different kind of musik to listen to, but Aborym is just Aborym. No influences, no feedback, no nothing... it’s just the Aborym path.

Ild - What’s your idea of future evolution for Aborym, are you thinking to new experiments to follow a less metal path through more electronic territories, following some of the elements of your electronic songs or what?

(Set Teitan 131) I’m not thinking about that at the moment. As for me, I don’t think we will ever skip away from black metal or from guitars, we will just keep on doing things from our different perspective.

(Malfeitor Fabban): Aborym was born as an extreme band, and Aborym will die playin fukin’extreme musik.
