Honestly I’m a bit disappointed by this Nachtfalke release, "Doomed to Die" and "Hail Victory Teutonica" have been 2 moments of pleasure in a boring past season, but I’m not so afraid that this new outfit is the right continuation for this Teutonic band that’s bringing the weight of the Moonblood past. As told the first two acts where good enough to justify that notorious and noble origin, this time the sound is raw like back to the roots, to a sort of those underground demo normalized by the digital recordings. Two songs are surely at the same quality level of the previous successful outfits but the rest is nothing more than ordinary. "Land of Frost" sound like something very promising but the result is lower than my expectations. Only in some moments the songs have this haunting epic edge of "Hail Victory Teutonia", the rawness prevail without evoking any somber mood. After the new album as bonus there’s the very rare demo of the band, some songs have been already represented in the past works but by itself that thing have to be appreciated.

If I can compare this album to something of the past one album could be the Hades (Allmighty) debut, if you know them it’s clear what you can find.
