It was a long time that a so hellhish creature was unleashed, Amaka Hahina are one of those book that few dare to open, a nightmare to fear with nothing in common with the already well known metal attitude, this is the voice of the abyss, a tormented journey through the world beyond...away from human restrictions. Only Abruptum with "Obscuritatem..." have tried to do something similar to that infernal creation, the base is an anguish and repetitive synth part that recall an occult mood, an obsessive tune that is the base for an incredible emersion of distorted voices and horrific sounds, totally abstract and inhuman, tortured and totally sick. As I was talking with Sephrenel days ago this kind of music is much more an experience that a common thing. If you’re more linked to the traditional side of metal music this is a thing to stay away, for other it can be a fatal trap...a gate to open with the risk to not turn back. Often the sensation is to be right in the middle of a necromantic ritual or a spiritualist séance, evoking immortal presences, phantoms of the past....unique.
