AMARTH - Vs. The World
What is supposed to be this hybrid of Heavy, Power and Thrash metal ? They call themselves as a Viking band ? AH ! They must be joking, there isn’t a single inch of epic mood or a single acoustic or atmospheric passage in their music, how can it be called "Viking" ? It sounds like a Swedish version of Manowar with a drunk warrior on the artwork....oh I’m wrong, it was on the first release, in the second we have our valorous "true metal" warrior with his glorious sword vs. the world ! Very very funny but I can’t tolerate this kind of demential music and the funniest of all is that they play it seriously ! It can be interesting for a narrow minded kid slave of Nuclear "plastic" Blast or a "True Metal Defender" but not for people with a fully functional brain...certainly not.
