ARKHON INFAUSTUS - FILTH CATALYST
The
title of that other new Osmose nonsense creation speaks itself, all the shit the
filth is catalysed creating an irreversible situation of disgust. The debut of
this French band wasn’t a miracle but a solid
release melting together different extreme metal feeling, a perverse
fusion of black death and thrash metal done with the right incidence of madness,
sometimes without focusing the target too well but after all representing a
pleasant threat to the extreme crowd.
"Filth Catalyser" is another story, the only thing that I can mention
as something acceptable is the cover! The sound is messy as usual but this time
not a single instrument is able to emerge from the shit, the disorder is
irreversible , I don’t know if this is a choice but the only this I can say is
that it sucks!! Yes they probably try to sound dirty and a bit low-tuned but the
only result is boredom.
The song-writhing? Next question please....
