BESATT- Hellstorm

Their debut album was one of the most recent surprises in the underground, "Hellstorm" is a confirm to their status, Besatt play a grim and monumental form of Black Metal, the wall of sound is full of sombre mood, with the apocalyptic background that some albums are able to summon. In some songs the sensation is that Besatt are trying to be the underground answer to the Marduk over-ground decadence,  they have a steady fast tempo played with long open riffs, landscapes of frost like in the Scandinavian tradition, and "Hellstorm" is surely a very traditional album without fall in a boring presentation of this genre, after all a solid release that goes away from the standards of the music market, following the way of the indifference to the laws of this system. Poland have a strong pagan scene but Besatt stay away from any territorial-folkloric or battle-like influences, there something epic in their music because they tend to create a sort of evocative crusade against Christendom, an Hellstorm as they call it.
