BILSKIRNIR-ATAVISMUS DES GLAUVENS

Bilskirnir have to be proud of how they manage their ideological and autonomy of their releases because it’s clear how they’re far away from the easy listening and crowd sensibility. The one man behind this project have the goal to bring back to life the early Graveland feeling, this of "Following the Voice of Blood" and to recall the epic and hateful intuitions of this one to a total underground level without any appealing try but differently keep high the banner of the cold annihilation of modern world and alien cultures. Differently from Graveland who have chosen to involve some folkish and acoustic parts here the point of reference is much more the harsher Black Metal, without any depressive shading, but only a submerged epical view.

Personally I prefer the previous "In Flames of Purification" who was much more nocturnal, here everything seem to be more primordial with less retro Black Metal visions. If something disappears what remains is more nude and crude with no many melodic moments.
