The Swedish heartless killers are back. This time their crude and hrash piece of Black sadistic metal is a bit more “refined” and there are songs that finally reach a personal line. Those who like cruel and in-human cold metal that smell of mortal war diseases this is their cup of tea. With better guitar lines than before their second shot is the true face of the actual nihilistic tendency. I don’t’ feel too much in line with this mood but the Total Holocaust records surely deserve my respect for the extreme and active attitude of this last year. Surely the band is really inside what they promote, but if I compare them to Ad Hominem and Mor Dagor I still prefer them. Probably the biggest limit of Blodulv is to have too few variations on the rhythms compared to the French and not the same bestial aggression of the Mor. Leaving apart that fact the II chapter isn’t bad, it’s a music representative of the true hate and nothing can be saved from this insensitive march.
