DIACHRONIA - XX’S DECLINE
What a surprise this newcomers from Russia !!! They’re genre is a very interesting Melodic Black Metal played very well and the songs are ALL great, thing that is not easy to find nowadays, it’s a great consolation to hear a new band that plays such a great music when most of the great acts are sadly slaves to the market and their old rocker minds still wondering that Motorhead and Venom are great music (who said Satyricon and Carpathian Forest ?). The production is very good, the keyboards are never overflowing and all the instruments never play anonymous riffs, there’s a very good taste for music here, a special reward to the clean vocals that are simply amazing, so some whispers and especially the scream vocals, what the hell...this album is great from the beginning to the end ! When he gave me this album Ild referred me that they say they have a real drummer...liars ! They’ve a drum machine very well programmed with a great sound, if you listen very well you can recognise it from the sound of the cymbals, and the drums sound is too accurate to be human. I’m not so narrow-minded that I don’t like bands with a drum machine but who they think they’re trying to cheat ? Otherwise this will not affect the final mark of this review, in a few words this album is simply Amazing, they won’t get the maximum only because they’ve not created nothing new, but instead of wasting your money with useless albums, try to find this masterpiece, Diachronia deserves it.
