I really hope that this will be Dimmu Borgir’s swansong. This review could finish here but I’d like to explain more clearly this absolute crap that someone will catalogue as a “masterpiece album” with supreme idiocy. The production is worst than the previous P.E.M. that I consider a very good album, there isn’t a single inch of atmosphere, all is so plastic and arrogant, and the orchestrations would be better if they not sounded like Star Wars ! Speaking about guitar there isn’t a good riff, only rhythmic crap throughout the whole album, I still wonder why gifted artists like Vortex, Mustis and Nick Barker are wasting their time (who said $ ?), this horrible abortion reaches its climax with “Cataclysm Children” that seems to be a thrashy drunken song by Destruction, I’m really sad when I think that a band capable to make a masterpiece like Stormblast have felt this pathetic way…
