Enthral are back (how lucky we are!!!) and for another time the follow the trend to create a boring, uninteresting album. Time ago the best things was to follow the Dimmu Borgir trend, playing a sort of doom-symphonic metal with the well-known screaming, then after the right oblivion they have been disappeared and now they come-back from nothingness with another tasteless album. It’s not a surprise that this time they’re not more interested in melancholic melodic attitude of their early works but this time they follow the caravan of modern Death_Black Metal. Notwithstanding this fact if I start to analyze this album away from this matter "SM" is nothing but a very bad example of not so well recorded pseudo-modern Black-Death without too many experimentation and also without the necessary aggression, that usually is one of the winning strategies of this genre. There isn’t the right impact and also the arrangements and guitar riffs are nothing but less than fair. Zyklon and the first Myrkskog are what this kind of music can really say, that one is another bad example of emulation, nothing more…
