Second release for this interesting and young italian five piece ,after their previous mini Cd " Born from devastation" they rise again with this new "awakening of the abyss" that totally riconfirms the value of this band!
Old style death-metal in vein of Morbid Angel,Incantation,Brutality and old Cryptopsy but performed with a modern meaning creating four great tracks of pure audial ferocity with a real professional production that lavish the potential of this work.
Hypnotic and killing guitars are unceasingly deflagrating the ears supported by a quite drums sections not ever precise but blasting and an ultra-growl vocals composing the puzzle of this slaughter.All the musical structures are based on the good standards of this genre and in some way it results homogeneus and monolithic but they show their capacity to compose convincing ideas with passion and genuine charge.
I think this type of sounds performed by Execrator needs some mid tempos and slow doomish parts to enrich and complete very well their artistic way,the inexperience has no mercy and the path to improve and find a personal meaning is so long and hard they’ve only to go along it with humbleness and perseverance to reach the goals of their aspirations.
Experience learns this is fundamental thing because there’s still some little insicurity that with time it’ll be erased signing the growing of their maturity and music.
This mini cd also includes a multimedia section containing the clip from "Christian agony", this work is a real positive beginning that brings more surprises for the future,the scene has a new glorious fore-runner!
