GRAVELAND - THE FIRE OF THE AWAKENING

I have not been one of those who have acclaimed “Memory and Destiny” as another masterpiece from the Poland legend. If you got time give a look to the Graveland biography to understand that it was a suffering score to give from my side because of the great respect that I have for Rob D. So many will lost their pitiful life talking about how the ideology behind that band is “unacceptable” I can say to so many so-called hippies or yuppies that in Aeternitas Tenebrarum Graveland are a myth to glorify for their non-conformist and extreme attitude and the majestic epic and dramatic unique atmosphere of their music. Yes we’re still following the voice of blood, lost and distant echoes of battlefields, nothing heroic or better nothing to regret just a common target, never forgive you enemy!…this is what I can another time hear from this new chapter. Graveland are bringing back the 100 Swords riffing creating 5 long and songs with a very solid mood. The typical mid-tempo riffs are mixed together with more melodic ideas also made y the guitars. So many time insects around the global world have probably not understood this message in their political correctness and it’s obvious how far they are from the actual common sense. Their music is a reflex of this idea, of this passion, where hatred conquest mind and body, like a spear of destiny and tragedy, if necessary. Together with the less “old” cult Nacthfalke Graveland have the dramatic appeal of the “Sturm Und Drang” wild but controlled, cold and hateful but with a not common proud attitude. Let the final Crusade March on the other doubts, final approaching to a life that materialism of east and west cannot comprehend.
