HATE ETERNAL - King of All Kings
Earache
2002
The
Kings are back! After their first fantastic "Conquering the Throne"
Eric Rutan and Co. Turn out with this new furious "King of All Kings".
Eric, after the split with Morbid Angel doesn’t lost his creativity and the
incredible passion for extreme music and this release reconfirm the value of
this band of the new death metal era.
Introduced by "Our beckoning" "King..." makes your ears
bleed with its Brutality and bloodthirsty fury, with a supreme guitar-work, a
faultless voice performance and the drum-god Dereck "One Take" Roddy (Malevolent
Creation, Divine Empire, Nile) with his detailed precision in performance.
"Servants of the Gods" show the perfection is not an utopia, it’s
really grim but a little painted with melody.
"Burn and Fire" show the intelligent use of original rhythmic patterns
and good flavour for melody than the previous album. Ever fast with no
compromises is "Rising Legions of Black" with crazy fanciful drum
sections and the hateful voice of Jared Andersoon on choirs, and the closing
"Powers that Be" gives the last stab in the head to remember Hate
Eternal with its complicated riffing and progressive nuances dirty of blood!
There’s no word to express some negative consideration to a band that plays
music with a lot of passion, the result are: perfection and art! This is Hate
Eternal!
