The success of Carpathian Forest has probably pushed this decision of two new members to try the simple way to gain some easy and fast bucks. I’m not here to say that this album is a pile of shit because it’s not so bad, but it’s like to hear the discarded songs of the Carpathian Forest discography, nothing bad but also nothing really necessary at this stage. Personally I believe that a minicd can be a sort of first appearance just to understand the overall interest in this proposal. I say that the quality is fair and the music is a sort of Thrasy Black Metal but nothing of the nightmarish and incredible proposal of present bands like Funeral Mist, Ondskapt, Leviathan, it’s not a matter of taste but an understanding of the cold and dark essence of Black metal that it’s here expressed in a more moderate and less mysterious way. Here you find what can be excepted by an ’80 modern version of thrash and Black metal. I’m not here to give a final judge but if the future album will be like this it will not affect me too much.
