Adipocere
seems very active this year but after some very cool releases (Malleus
Maleficarum, Nehemah...) they have a bit exaggerated with band like Furia and
this one just to say.
Ipsum have released a cd that doesn’t change anything to this year, they play
a decent form of Symphonic Black Metal with as usual other metal influences. The
artwork is very Scandinavian inspired but when we come to the music everything
sound a bit messy, the recording isn’t expressive at all, the songs haven’t
the most exciting material ever heard but the sound didn’t help the cause.
Those boys aren’t surely those who capture my attention, there’s not the
negative vibe and everything seems to normal, differently in my ear Black Metal
should be something different, a mood, an experience, there the are only
ordinary Sympho Black songs....guys look into yourself and ask to you if
you’re fighting for something you really believe, because I can’t understand
where you’re aiming.
