NACHTFALKE - DOOMED TO DIE

Shortly after the review of the excellent "Hail Victory Teutonia" here come another pagan war-inspired hymn from that band that is keeping high this banner without any sort of compromise and fault. "Doomed to Die" is a bit less obscure then "Hail Victory Teutonia", probably because of a more high-oriented recording, the riffs are a travel through battlefields where there isn’t the typical epic and deformed vision of those ages but differently the dramatic and monumental consciousness of the Germanic vision, a fatalism that has always been part of the northern side of those past echoes, just read to the different literatures of the medieval age to understand the difference that Nachtflake are expressing in a so successful way and this in also because their inspired by the Bathory heritage and not from the American funny vision of ridiculous bands like Manowar. I wish to repeat that thing because in this Nachtfalke’s album there another Bathory cover, "One Home of Once Brave" played with incredible attitude, a vibration...something to remember. The recording is absolutely raw, the guitars are a very sharpen but there are also some more inserts of clean guitars, playing some melodic slow solos, with a  very evocative result. Like Graveland Nachtfalke add a black metal spirit to their creation, it’s normal because the main member of the band was one of the cult underground band Moonblood, just hear to the fast drums parts and the some guitar riffs.
