is a trademark of quality but this release has left me a bit disappointed...
Primigenium is a spanish band that plays a raw and straight black metal
influenced by the 80s in some moments, old Immortal and also old Mayhem,
everything is almost linear and there are not particular highlights but
definitely this album is not boring and the most important thing is that it has
the right atmosphere...
To be honest the first three songs are not so good, especially the first
"Pure Black Fucking Metal" (What the hell?!?!?) and the "Fuck You"
statement that opens the song "Demoniac" is something that Primigenium
could save for themselves, the singer has a very good scream but it lacks when
he tries to make a more "strong" voice and strumentally as I said
before the album is very "linear" but "hypnotic" in some
moments, worthless to say that you will appreciate this album only if you are an
hardcore fan of a certain kind of black metal...surely it’s not bad, if the
release date was ten years ago... but nowadays it’s one more album between a
thousand others.
