SONATA NOCTURNA - The Darkest Winter

Rage Of Achilles - Masterpiece Distribution

Sonata Nocturna plays a genre that is not properly my cup of tea, it's definible with a gothic metal, you know, the classic metal riffs,

female vocals, keyboards, dark romantic atmospheres and so on...and the line between something good and a totally boring work is very thin.

The fact is that they've all the potential to make something really good but there's the nowadays common lack of original ideas, the statement

"it's good but nothing special" would fit exactly this situation, useless to say i can't perceive anything of what they seems to transmit to the listener,

like another empty work (who said also all the modernist trend ?). Another thing, i really think that to be potentially able to transmit certain feelings

(would it be coldness applied to decadence or things like that) is needed something in your veins that is not under the sun of Spain (in this case) or the south in general. Only for die hard fans of the genre.
