Totally astonishing this new release from the ex-Dissection band,after the unlucky " Written in blood" they have returned with a package of delicious songs for everyone who has the palate lined with asbestos!

A real good sound gives to the arrangements and the rhytmic section a blasting impact,enriching the furious charge in each composition ,focusing and lavishing the attention to their musical capacities that on this "Life erazer" are truly on high levels.

After an intro "The unholy" opens the listening ,the killing capacity of this song is like a train that knok you down with intense and heavy guitar parts united with an ultra fast drumming, the first thing that I’ve heard is a total brutal sound but filled with supreme melodies, apparently two different concepts(brutality and melody) but Soul Reaper wisely use these differences to make the difference that is create a personal own way!

The best quality of this band is mixing with extreme wisdom two types of meaning too much further like the swedish and american scene indeed this result is audible on "Static darkness"

Full of rocky mid-tempos and sublime melodic guitar constructions but Soul Reaper likes to play fast and aggressive keeping their musical alchemy on the title track " Life erazer" demonstrating to be not boring and granted but instead showing their winning best formula.

"The slowfall of death " is the perfect symbiosis of the present and past of this band recalling the old glorious memory of Dissection and this ancient dark halo is also present on the acoustic track

" Trascending the fall " for its majestic arpeggios re-echoing the Jon Nodveit’s pathos.

Someone said that Soul Reaper was and is the unsuccessful attempt to repeat themselves after the

Unsatisfaction bringed by their debut dividing their audience but they have showed to play with the same passion of the past but with a different approach.
