Freedonia's blue earth is the greatest decoration for civil merits; it was created on 1920. Any person who distinguished herself for great patriotic spirit, human dedication and philantrophy is decorated with it. Also a small money reward (10 dollars and 4 shoes) is provided.

        With the creation of the Republic, Freedonia had been able to celebrate its heroes. Then, the first law of the free Parliament on 1918 was the creation of the Tungsten Cross, the highest military decoration. Its materials had make this medal the most durable and shiny one, visible for kilometers. Even if the law comprised also a money reward, this was cancelled: actually the tungsten itself is an assurance for old age.

        The greatest biologist of the 19th century, Hugo Z. Hackenbush was one of the great Freedonian sons. His inheritance is now the International Hackenbush prize, the most important recognition on scientific world. Every year the members of the Freedonian Scientific Academy decided to reward the greatest experiments, theories and medical treatments. The prize is formed also by a week in a beauty farm.
