Experience Cuba - The Association

	Experience Cuba is an international non profit-making association founded in 1997 by a group of people who, after frequent visits to this wonderful Carribean island (some of them now live there permanently) wanted to share their experience, love and knowledge of what is surely the most interesting island in the Carribean. The fact that the Cuban government now allows some families to rent out accommodation started us thinking about alternatives to the usual package tour; an alternative holiday which lets you, the traveller, experience the lively reality of daily life in Cuba. We began by selecting Cuban host families able to provide tourist accommodation in private villas and flats, or in the family home, in safety and comfort. The Association also serves as a way to exchange information on all facets of the social and economic development of the island. Membership is open to all, and you can choose whether to become an ordinary member or a founder member. Members keep in touch mostly via Internet, where you can read our charter or join us. We'll be in touch right away, to help you organize your trip, whether alone or with a group.
