The Beatles - Helter Skelter rehearsal - studio outtake, 1968 Paul McCartney - Blackbird - Wings/LIVE, 1976 | , | Posted by Matt August 21st, 2006 You know I am always jealous of those other Beatle fans who get to go to these great events. I remember several years ago there was a wonderful weekend Beatle fest in Cleveland, and I got to meet Cynthia Lennon. I spent the whole weekend there, and it reallly was my first foray into colecting Beatles memorabilia. Why can’t these things come more regularly to the rock and roll capital. I know we had Abbey Road on the River for a few years, but I need my Beatle-fest fix. One of these times I’m going to go to the one in Chicago and NYC. I mean they are the largest in the country, and the lognest running. Here’s the recap on this year’s fest from a nice newspaper article
