Visit the Inca's Land

The Inca's land (friendly called so, since it was really bigger) located in the west coast of South America, to the rims of the Pacific Ocean, today called Republic of Perú, having a surface of 1.285.215,60 square kilometers. The population is around 24 million inhabitants. Imagine that Italy fits six times in such a territory.

The Republic of Perú today share borders, to the North with Ecuador and Colombia, to the South with Chile,  to the East with Brazil and Bolivia and to the West with the Pacific Ocean.

In Perú the official language is "Spanish", but we use to call it "Castellano" (from Castilla Kingdom),   even if today our language is officially ruled by the "Real Academia de la Lengua Española". In Perú a lot of persons use to speak a lot of native languages, the most important is Quechua.

Important places (for sure I'm missing a lot of them):

Huascarán Mountain: reaching up to 6,768 meters high above sea level (2nd top mountain in America)

Alpamayo Mountain: reaching 5,947 meters, considered the most beautiful mountain of the world.

The Colca Canyon: with a depth of 3,400 meters.

The Titicaca lake: the most high navigable lake of the world  (3,812 meters above sea level).

Pass of the Anticona: the most high railroad track of the world (4,818 meters above sea level).

The Amazon River: the most largest river of the world, with a length of more than 7,000 km.

Machupicchu: the archeological capital of the world (in Cuzco).
