BIO-CYBERNETICS

When a "SYSTEM" is capable of changing one or more parameters, to balance, 

to adapt itself to the changes of the internal or external environment,

 we can say that this system is a "CYBERNETIC" one.

"CYBERNETICS" is the scientific discipline which studies these kinds of "systems".

Every living system has this potentiality to react in a coordinate way upon the environment, 

so we can say that they are cybernetic models.

MAN CAN BE CONSIDERED A CYBERNETIC SYSTEM

Easy examples of biocybernetic changes

• The phenomena of myosis and mydriasis in response to strong or weak sources of light.

• The increase of perspiration, which allows a cooling of the body, trough the evaporation of the sweat, in response to higher temperature.

• Vasoconstriction of the skin-vessels, in case of cold stimuli, to lessen the dispersion of heat from the body.

• Lessening of the sensitiveness of the ear in response to louder stimuli etc. etc.

THE QUALITY FACTORS OF A BIO-CYBERNETIC SYSTEM ARE:

• The highest possible sensitivity of sensor.

• Quickest possible times of self-compensation (after the detection).

• Widest possible range of action (minimum/maximum unbalance which can be balanced by the "system").

• The highest possible precision of balancing action.

Human pathologies can be considered "VARIATIONS" which cause disturbances

so that the "self compensation system" can not correct itself,

 because they exceed the maximum "Range of action", the limits of homeostasis.

To counterbalance this alteration of the state of equilibrium in the "LIVING SYSTEM",

 it is necessary to intervene with the same natural method (cybernetic).

The working of "B-I-G" is based on the BIOFEEDBACK principle. That is:

DETECTION OF PATHOLOGIC ENERGIES AND THEIR ANNULLATION THROUGH A SYSTEM OF "FEEDBACK",

 TO BRING BACK THE ORGANISM INTO THE "RANGE" OF SELF COMPENSATION THAT ALLOWS IT TO RECOVER.
