In the selection of sweepstakes judges, any nominations received for English judges, or persons eligible to judge the entire Herding Group in this country or the Group to which Bearded Collies belong in any other country, or who are eligible to judge the Breed at any AKC shows are ineligible
All nominees for Sweepstakes should have at least seven (7) years of experience as an exhibitor in conformation and/or as a Breeder of Bearded Collies, and have a thorough understanding of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows and Judging, as well as the Standard of the Bearded Collie to be eligible for nomination
To be nominated to judge futurity, an individual must be a current member in good standing with the BCCA for a period of not less than 10 years, have bred a minimum of 3 litters of Bearded Collies, and at least 5 of the resulting puppies from these litters bred have obtained their conformation championships
