SOGGETTO
poiché ne sopravvivono alcuni esemplari mantenuti in condizioni
Fliegertruppen svizzere. In particolare, l'esemplare U-60 è attualmente
conservato presso il Museo Svizzero
dei Trasporti di Lucerna.
MODELLO
intenso usato nell'impiego militare.
SUBJECT
A
favourite of the european airshow is the Bücker 133 Jungmeister, since
some still survive in full operating conditions.
It
is a higly maneuverable acrobatic biplane designed and manufactured in
Germany in the thirties. Like other countries, it was adopted by the Swiss
military flight school.
The
U-60 sample is now preserved by the Swiss
Museum of Transports in Luzern.
MODEL
The
base kit from Heller includes markings for a civil sample registered in
Switzerland, but i didn't like its cream white livery as much as the deep
yellow scheme worn by the military school aircraft of this country.
I
didn't put particular efforts in the assembly. I just added some details
in the cockpit (belts and instruments) and replaced the oversized landing
gear struts with stretched sprue.
I
painted it with a particular enamel from Revell, that matches this typical
RAL deep chrome yellow.
Most
of my work went into scratchbuilding decals for this subject with my computer
and a vectorial graphics software.
I
used it to prepare drawings for writings, crosses and black decorations
then back-printed on solid color decal sheets, while the "U-60" and "RV"
writings are made with laser printer on clear decal film, after having
found the proper character font. |
