- Aeroporto di Venezia-Tesséra
Ecco l'eroe :-), in posa plastica di fianco all'aereo che lo porterà a Roma, con altri amici modellisti, per partecipare con una eccezionale mostra modellistica alle celebrazioni per il cinquantesimo anniversario dell'Aeronautica Militare Italiana, presso il Museo di Vigna di Valle. L'aereo è il Lockheed C-130H Hercules della 46ª Aerobrigata il cui equipaggio si aggiudicò quell'anno il primo posto alla competizione "Volant Rodeo", negli USA, battendo i concorrenti delle principali aviazioni militari occidentali. Il Tiger Meet si è appena concluso. La folla ormai lascia l'aeroporto e si smontano le transenne.Così il modellista paziente può avvicinare la belva, toccarla, salirci, chiaccherare col suo domatore. Dove si potrebbe stare meglio che sulla sua scaletta di un F-15 della New Jersey Air National Guard? Ma nel suo abitacolo, ovviamente! Sarà per la prossima volta, o per la prossima vita... Tiger
Meet is over. By now visitors leave the airbase and crowd barriers are
dismantled.That's how the patient modeller can get closer to the wild beast,
touch it, climb on it, chat with its tamer.Where would one feel better
than on the ladder of a New Jersey ANG's F-15?In the cockpit, its obvious,
but next time will go better.

- Imperial War Museum - Duxford (GB) Con altri soci del Centro IPMS di Milano, visitando un santuario della storia dell'Aviazione. Il tour, oltre ai musei di Hendon e Duxford, toccherà quello di Yeovilton e la partecipzione all'International Air Tattoo presso la base di Fairford. Sullo sfondo, un B-52D Stratofortress ed un F-4U Corsair. Visiting
a sanctuary of Aviation history with some friends from of the Milan's IPMS
chapter. Besides Hendon and Duxford museums, the tour concerned the F.A.A.
Museum in Yeovilton as well as the International Air Tattoo by the Fairford
airbase

Ai soci dell'ente organizzatore era permesso curiosare nel C-5B Galaxy dell'U.S.A.F. presente all'International Air Tattoo, sedendo al posto del comandante di quel colosso. Only F.I.A.T.
members were allowed to look round in the U.S.A.F.'s C-5 Galaxy attending
the International Air Tattoo and sit at the pilot's place in that giant.
