Buildings and Palaces

bullet Mole Antonelliana, the tall tower which is the symbol of Torino, sort of an Eiffell Tower for us.
You can go on top of it by elevator, any day (except Mondays) until 20:00 at least (check on the linked page)

SOME SUGGESTIONS

bullet You can pick up further documentation, and get any other info when arriving, at the Information Points of "Turismo-Torino".
One is located at the arrival level of the Torino airport, any day from 8:30 to 22:30
Another is inside the "Porta Nuova" Central Railway Station, at track No. 17, any day from 9:30 to 19:00, on Sundays until 15:00.
The third is in Piazza Solferino.

bullet I would suggest an afternoon (or evening) walk, from the Central Railway Station "Porta Nuova", through Piazza Carlo Felice, Via Roma, Piazza San Carlo, Piazza Castello (where Palazzo Madama and Palazzo Reale are placed).
Better if before 19:30, when all the shopping stores in Via Roma are open and lit.

bullet Just be careful, the area of Porta Nuova station (especially Via Nizza) is NOT safe at night.
Keep out after 21:00, or at least follow the crowd, and avoid lonely areas.
