Cala Gonone |
Cala Gonone is placed on the oriental coast at around 110 Km. in the south of Olbia, in the center of the splendid "Golfo di Orosei", that represents, without doubt, the most beautiful and uncontaminated line of coast in Sardinia,
and that contain the most part of the real pearls of natural beauty now rare and not to be found: the beaches of "Cala Luna", "Cala Sisine" and "Cala Mariolu", by the crystalline water connected away sea by a ferries service; the
caves of "Bue Marino", among the longest of Europe for the explored line; the
cave of "Ispinigoli", second in Europe for height, contains a stalagmitic column of around 40 meters; the nuragic villages of "Nuraghe Mannu", "Serra Orrios " and " Tiscali ", keep alive the memory of one of the first civilizations appeared on the Earth; the canyon of "Su Gorroppu", whose walls, challenging the sky, raises themselves stately to over 300 meters, giving the European supremacy to this "canyon" for height, length (35 Km.) and beauty. These and so many other indescribable situations make that "Cala Gonone" with its coast and its hinterland is an unique heaven. |
