Uno spazio storico per Milano, come quello del Leoncavallo a Milano, ha ospitato, dal 5 all'8 luglio del 2007 la festa provinciale del giovani comunisti.
In questa occasione, Bladna, associazione di giovani legata con alcuni suoi partecipante ai G.c., ha scelto di presentare a Milano la mostra Studenti Sotto Occupazione, promossa dai ragazzi di bir zeit e di altre università palestinesi, che testimonia cosa vuol dire essere appunto studenti e ragazzi, sotto l'occupazione da più di 40 anni.
Sono infatti 40 anni ad oggi (1967-2007) che lo stato Sionista Israeliano, occupa illegalmente i territori palestinesi ed è unico arbitro della vita nei territori occupati. E' lui che unilateralmente costruisce muri, delimita i suoi confini, continua a costruire insediamenti illegali, uccide Palestinesi, distrugge case, arresta illegalmente chiunque manifesti dissenso verso l'occupazione...
La mostra è stata allestita in uno spazio centrale visitato da molte persone, vista la sua posizione e l'allestimento esterno, che si presentava per l'ingresso, con una riproduzione minima (il muro reale vista la sua altezza e lunghezza è quasi impossibile da riprodurre;altezza 9 mt..) del muro dell'apartheid e di un ceckpoint, simboli dell'occupazione Israeliana della terra palestinese, simbolo della violazione dei più elementari diritti umani, come quello di movimento e di studio delle persone che in palestina quotidianamente devono vivere, ma forse è meglio dire sopravvivere. E per testimoniare la nostra vicinanza e il nostro continuo interesse alla questione, noi giovani di Bladna abbiamo cercato anche con questa iniziativa di provare a trasmettere le continue violazioni e i continui soprusi derivanti dall'occupazione.
Sperando che serva a far conoscere e far capire, a chi non c'è stato...con la palestina e la lotta contro le ingiustizie nel cuore.. PALESTINA LIBERA!
An historical space for Milan, the Social Centre Leoncavallo, has guested from July the 5th to the 8th the provincial festival of young communist. In this respect, Bladna, a young association related to the Y.C., had decided to show in Milan the photographic exhibition "Student Under Occupation" promoted by Birzeit and other Palestinian universities' students that witnesses what does being students and guys under occupation for 40 years mean.
It's been 40 years since the Israeli Zionist state occupy illegally Palestinian territories and is the only refree of life in the territories. It unilaterally build walls, limits its borders, keeps on building illegal settings, kills Palestinians, destroys houses, arrests illegally whoever shows dissent against occupation...
The exhibition hase been realised in a cultural space visited by many people, since its position and the set up of a smaller reproduction of the apartheid wall and of a checkpoint at the entrance being these symbols ot the Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands, of the violation of basic human rights as the right to freedom of movement and education of the people that in Palestine try to live or better survive. And to witness our vicinity and our growing interest on this question, we youngs from Bladna with this initiative have tried to transmit the continuos violations and harassement coming from occupation. Hoping this can help to make know and understand to whom has never been there... with Palestine and the struggle against injustice in the hearth... FREE PALESTINE!
