A winner of the Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition, Miss Pacetti made her american debut at Philadelphia's Academy of Music as Musetta in La Bohème . She then traveled with the other competition winners for performances with Mr. Pavarotti in Italy and then on his historic journey to Beijing with the Genoa Opera. Miss Pacetti has appeared frequently in Europe's major opera houses, including Milan's La Scala, the Rome Opera, the San Carlo Theatre in Neaples, with the operas of Parma, Catania and Mantua, and outside Italy with Paris Opera, La Bastille, the opera in Bilbao, Spain and in America with San Francisco Opera. Her repertoire includes such Puccini roles as both Mimi and Musetta in La Bohème, Madama Butterfly, and Liù in Turandot and in the Verdi operas, Luisa Miller, Violetta in La Traviata, Leonora in Il Trovatore, Amelia in Simon Boccanegra, Elvira in Ernani, Desdemona in Otello, Alice Ford in Falstaff as well as in such rarely performed Verdi works as Il Corsaro, in which she sings both Gulnara and Medora, and Mina in Aroldo. She has also performed Adina in Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore and the title role in his Rita, Nedda in Pagliacci, Suzel in Mascagni's L'amico Fritz, Micaela in Carmen and Antonia in Les Contes d'Hoffmann and Fedora by U. Giordano. She has performed Liù for the great production Puccini’s classic “Turandot” to be held at Seoul in Korea together with N. Martinucci and G. Casolla. Recently she has been a great successful in Forza del Destino (Leonora) produced by the Rovigo Theatre and performed also in the theatres of Pisa, Livorno Trento Padova and in Madama Butterfly by G.Puccini at Carlo Felice Theatre of Genoa

graduated of the Conservatorio G. Briccialdi in Terni where she was a pupil of
Lidia Marimpietri and then continued her studies privately with Antoinetta
Stella and at LA SCALA with Giulietta Simionato. She was a finalist in the
Concorso Maria Callas sponsored by RAI-TV and won top honors at several
Italian competitions including the Concorso Mattia Battistini and the Concorso
Internationale in Modena.
