Stone Pages - A guide to European
megaliths
The Celts: an ancient people, strictly connected to the rural world and current in many european areas where you can easily find, even now, various and fascinating evidences of their presence. Travelling through the Europe in these years I have reconstructed their migrations and the routes of their civilization: from Ireland to Brittany, from the Danubian area to Portugal.....Everywhere I have found tangible evidences and particular atmospheres that refer to their history.
In particular, some countries impressed me for the persisting traditions and for the surviving traces of Celtic inheritance. These evidences are so fascinating because they are accompanied by a sort of mystery. However, it's probably the naturalistic beauty of some places (the Finistère, the south-west coast of Ireland, some zones of Portugal) that enhances the distant memory of a people whose outline is almost magic.........
Apart from the historical truth I invite you to share with me this route of knowledge. You'll find in it more than you can imagine.
