"Marino Di Fazio was born in 1949 in Genoa. His love of drawing started in early
childhood. In the first years seventy knew the work of the naive croatian
painters , and he began to paint as self-taught in naive style. He had his first
solo-exhibition in 1979 , in the following years he participated to many competition
, he had many successes in Italy (Genoa , S.Marino , Rome , Florence ,
Venice ). From the first years eighty bear an advantageous report of
collaboration with the art gallery "Il Crocicchio" in Genoa , here each year
he has a solo- exhibition. He loves to paint his region , the winters
landscapes of the hinterland , the calm nocturnals of the ligurian coast ,
Camogli , Portofino . He loves to withdraw characters of a distant world
in the time , old works , calm countries. He evokes an untainted
world , a world where some values still exist.
He works and live in Genoa."
