There're
lots of:
First
of all I collect Comics; in
the meantime my enthusiasm has waned a little bit, but I'm still thrilled by Marvel-Comics,
especially Spider-Man (whom in the beginning I only knew in the German
version as "Die Spinne")! I also had been very curious about the first movie
of 2002, have a look at a short review
I wrote!

At that time I became infected with the
Marvel-Virus, however I didn't miss to get to know all the famous super
heroes of the DC-Universe, too - thanks to my very first Batman-Comic you
can see to the right.

My mother is to blame for my passion for comic
strips, for she bought me THIS one (I was 4 years old), which I still
possess and watch over like Uncle Scrooge protects his first Dollar!

...then for some years I seemed to prefer the
DC-heroes and so I ordered all the available giant posters from the
German publishing house Ehapa!
This is how my room looked like!

However the first comics I bought with my own
pocket money were those of good old Spidey ...

Then there was a time, when my enthusiasm for Disney-comics started
to grow. I tried to collect all numbers of the Lustige Taschenbücher (German Disney pocket books). After having 120 of them and
realizing that the quality of the new stories went from bad to worse, I
lost the interest.

|
So I started to collect Mickey Mouse comics and
- to the shock of my parents - on my first comic strip- exchange market
(I was 15) in the Cologne-Mülheimer
City Hall I paid 60 DM (30
Euros) for this comic from1953.
In the meantime its value increased to over 100
Euros.

The only thing that remained of my
"Disney-mania" are the international comics (most of them are
Disney), which I still collect.

I already have comics
from the following countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland (ital.),
Denmark, Holland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Italy, Greece, Yugoslavia,
Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, GB, Ireland (Gaelic), France, Spain,
Portugal, USA, India (engl.), Kuwait (Arabic), a Latin and Catalonic one
and lots of German dialects.
If
you have comics from other countries -come on with them!

At the moment my
current comic strip-taste is again determined by Spidey, I also like
the
DC vs.
Marvel- and
Amalgam-Comics and I consider "Watchmen" to be a real monumental epic!!

I love to dance a
lot (most times in the disco called E-Werk!!), I often and gladly go to movie theatres,
I draw, model and make masks with latex ( you'll find some pictures
about this in the picture-gallery!!), I learn and love foreign languages and
dialects and I'm very interested in the dubbing of movies and series
(concerning that topic I'm preparing another website!)...
