Asylum
"Only a couple of days ago we told you
about Asylum, a dark first person shooter from developers Darkblack.
Now US publishers Octagon are in talks with Darkblack, to secure the
worldwide publishing rights for Asylum.
Most interestingly, Octagon want to publish Asylum firstly "for
console", with multiplatform options. So we suspect this means
either a PlayStation 2 or Xbox release first - so far Octagon's
previous releases, including Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project and
Outlaw Golf - have been primarily for the PC, and recently Xbox.
Though both Octagon and Darkblack are relative unknowns in the
gaming industry, we're quietly looking forward to Asylum - not only
due to the name, but the mixture of first person shooting and
disturbing atmosphere in a similar vein to Silent Hill. Could it be
one of the first survival horror games to get both the shocks and
