ABOUT OUR ASSOCIATION

The "I Montagnardi" association is interested above all in preserving and in giving more value to historical, cultural and environmental estate of mountain and particularly, but not exclusively, of mountain part of Pescia's commune (Montagna Pesciatina).

Among our activities there are:

	the promotion of environmental education and of a sensible relation among man, territory and natural resources;
	the recovery of characteristic buildings of mountain (watermills) even by means of workamps;
	the management of structures of mountain territory (like "Uso di Sotto" refuge);
	the creation, in the territory, of the conditions for having a development which is compatible with the environment preservation;
	the organization of excursion and mountain-climbing activity;
	any activity which allow us to reach our goals (see our statute).
