My trip to Hong Kong & Macau – May 16-19, 2004

I went to Hong Kong with my older sister. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Hong Kong – Golden Mile in Tsim Sha Tsui (Nathan Road). While we were there, many sites around the hotel were 'under construction' - the further phase of HKMRT.

May 18, The Holiday Inn. Holiday Inn Hong Kong – Golden Mile, Tsim Sha Tsui (Nathan Road). I intended to take a photo of the taxi - the hotel bill board just happened to be in my way.

May 17, 2004, The Avenue Of Stars. A familiar scene of the Avenue Of Stars.

Here comes the VIP... Leslie's plaque and a fresh flower garland from Bangkok.

Standing beside his plaque and looking on to the Hong Kong Coast, this is the view you see. Hong Kong Coast from the Avenue Of Stars.

May 17, 2004, Kadoorie Road. Unfortunately I could not find the front gate. The driver was not quite capable in the area. So this was all I could do. I placed a garland together with two small bouquets of orchid (complimentary from Thai Airlines International) at the sign indicating the house number at the back door. Kindly confirm me it is the right home, please.

May 17, 2004, Madame Tussaud's, Hong Kong. Leslie's biography.

Big posters on the left.

The wax work.

May 18, 2004, The Landmark of Macau - Ruins of St. Paul's

May 18, 2004, A Pastry (Egg Rolls) shop near St. Paul.

A pastry shop that Leslie visited. The shop had a picture of Leslie with the owner. I did take a photo of the said picture; again, unfortunately, it just did not work out so I do not have the picture to show. Anyway, from the small part of the picture on the left where I circled, perhaps you could see the picture of Leslie, in black suit on the left and a lady (owner of the shop) on the right. I really sorry that I could not have a better picture to show you. See! How clumsy I am!

The picture below I took while I was standing in front ofthe pasty shop. St. Paul’s is 100 – 120 metres away.

May 18, 2004, Macau Tower.

At the skywalk of Macau Tower - 223 metres above the ground.

Looking thorugh the glass floor to the ground below.
