Karena didn’t realise Leslie was so serious before working with him.  As a superstar she thought he would leave after finishing his part but in fact he stays on the set until all the shots are finished.  He would spend 4 hours discussing the script with her with facial expressions as if he was really acting.  Usually this is the job of the assistant director.  This has helped her immerse in her role more easily. Comparing Leslie with Jacky Cheung she thought that her working experience with Leslie was more impressive.

Karena said: “Leslie is also a very caring person. Knowing that I’m not staying with my family he asked me 'how will you spend your Christmas? Do you want to go to parties?'”
