from Mainland China who met Leslie while she was on duty visit to
Shanghai.
She woke up early in the morning at 6:30 a.m. and walked around the streets near the hotel she was staying. When she walked by a food stall in a side street, she saw two persons sitting at a table having their breakfast, she found the back of one of them very familiar. Her eyes widely opened. Yes, he was Leslie, her idol whom she could only see on big screen and in concert. But he was there in front of her. She couldn't believe her eyes and wondered if it was only a dream. But it was true, he was Leslie. He wore a cream colour sweater and blue jeans. She came to his side like a nightwalker and greeted him "GorGor" in a low voice. GorGor raised his head and looked at her. He had never been so close to her before and she saw clearly in her eyes a face that is much more good looking than in any of his movies. His eyes are bright and pure, and he looks younger than on stage. She was standing there speechless like a dumbo.
GorGor asked her with a smile if she wanted an autograph from him. He spoke in perfect Mandarin and in a husky and sexy voice. She was very nervous but still could immediately take out a photo from her purse (a photo she took at the Passion Tour Concert while he was singing 'Red'). She gave him the photo and a pen with her hands trembled. Leslie didn't sign immediately but looked at the picture. "This is a photo I took at the Passion Tour Concert", she said. "Is it? Not bad", he emphasized the words "Not bad". She was so flattered, her heart in her mouth. When he was about to put the photo on the table she shouted, "Wait a minute!". She took out her handkerchief and laid it down on the table. Though there's nothing wrong with the table yet she did not want to place the photo on top of it directly. When Leslie was signing for her she could not take her eyes away from his face. She was enthralled looking at his beautiful profile. She found her face reddened when he handed back the photo to her. She ran away like mad after saying "Thank you!" in Cantonese. She looked so ridiculous that she thought GorGor must laughed at her.
She stopped after running several streets away and started to look at the photo. God! She couldn't find his autograph on the photo!! She was so shocked! "Why??" She almost wanted to cry! No, he did sign, he signed both in Chinese and English at the back of the photo. Up till now she couldn't understand why he chose to sign at the back She later on looked around many shops and bought a delicate crystal photo frame and have the photo carefully framed. She spent a whole afternoon in the hotel room looking at this picture with much satisfaction and joy.
The story didn't not end like
this!! On the next day, she suddenly remembered her handkerchief.
The handkerchief that GorGor had laid his hands upon, something
that she should not leave behind. She therefore decided to go
back to the place but was worried on the way that the food stall
might no longer be there, the boss might suddenly fallen sick.
Luckily, the stall was there, the boss was there. "Have you
got the handkerchief that I left here yesterday?", she
asked. "You really come back for the handkerchief!",
the boss said with a laugh. She was wondering what he meant.
"He (Cheung Kwok-Wing) said you would come back for it. He
folded it neatly and asked me to keep it safely for you".
She was extremely happy and surprised.
Our dear Gorgor, you really know your fans' mind! They would not let go anything with your slightest finger touch. The boss asked her why she loved Leslie that much and she told him she couldn't find another idol better than him. In fact she doesn't know the reason why. Should there be any reason? The boss asked her: "I guess the one sitting next to him should be his bodyguard, isn't it? He seems to take good care of him". Gosh! She didn't pay any attention at all to the person sitting next to him, only knows that he has short hair cut. Would he be Daffy?
