Alessandro Fogliati, chairman (since 1995) of ADAS –Association of Telecom Italia employees and managers owning shares of the Company -, is pleased to welcome you and desires to draw your attention on some key aspects related to the objectives, the opportunities and the long term scenario characterising the role of minority shareholders of a leading communication company operating in a very promising and challenging market and competitive framework.

The shareholder role requires a considerable expertise in evaluating benefits and risks, together with a consistent know how on several fundamental aspects (law, macro and micro economic framework, financial and strategic options).

Brief profile of Alessandro Fogliati: he was born in Italy and now lives  in a small village near to Rome, He has been working in the Stet Group (now Telecom Italia Group) for more than 40 years, being involved in the design and implementation of planning and control systems for investment and pricing management. He studied at Business Management School of Turin University and at European Centre “CEDEP” in Fontainebleau, near Paris. He is a member of the OECD Ministerial Commission of Italy and delegate to OECD organisation (Italian representative in ICCP - Information, Computer and Communication Policy Committee- since 1992; vice chairman of TISP - Telecommunications an Information Services Policy Working Group- since January 1996; Chairman of the Group of Experts on international telecommunication charging practices and procedure, during the period 1996-98)
